Il Faggeto is a XVI century farmhouse converted in the seventies into an elegant country house with careful use of the original materials in order to preserve his authentic taste.
The property is set in a secluded hillside position inside a large and incontaminated procected area in the heart of the Chianti region, accessed by a 1,5 km gravel road.
Surrounded by laws and very well landscaped gardens, it enjoys glorious view over the nearby valley and rolling hillsides covered by olive groves and vineyards.
The owner and her family have been using this property as a holiday home since the early seveties. Since 1984 the guesthouse has been succefully rented for touring pourposes. Thanks to the altitude (500 meters over sea level) the climate is perect with sunny and dry summer and winter.
The buildings have the unique shape of a small hamlet, and consist in 3 original stone buildings for residential use with warm terracotta floors and ceilings with wooden beams and terracotta tiles, a wine cellar, swimming pool, gardens, parking area, vinyard, and olive groves.

Electric line at 220 and 360 V. which feeds the whole complex.
For emergency there is an additional electric generator.

50 meters from buildings, well with submersible pump, underground pipe to tank, sewage treatment plant. Water is potable.
